Defining Our MandateSouth Florida Free Beaches/Florida Naturist Association, Inc. is an organization advocating for a fair share of public beaches and other suitable public commons for nude recreation in Florida, including the designation of clothing optional areas.Free beach means a naturist or clothing-optional beach, which allows the option of skinny-dipping and nude sunbathing, commonly known as a nude beach. Naturism is a philosophy advocating the intrinsic nobility of the human body as a creation of Nature; more at: Naturism 101 Haulover BeachSFFB/FNA founded the clothing optional section of Haulover Beach Park in Miami in 1991 and mentors it through its volunteer Beach Ambassador program, establishing the model for an urban nude beach.SFFB/FNA Board of Directors

Join the quest for naturist beaches by becoming a member/sponsor or donor.Government and CommunitySFFB/FNA maintains an active government affairs program to bring the nude recreation issue to the Florida legislature, administrators, business interests, and community leaders. It has employed a Florida legislative lobbyist since 1994.Revised Haulover Master Plan approved Dec. 4, 2012 by County Commission AffiliationsB.E.A.C.H.E.S. Foundation is SFFB's 501 (c) (3) educational and charitable adjunct.
