Report from Naked City

Naked City was erected for the Afterburn celebration in Lakeland Florida in October. We set up a free outdoor shower, had a wine & cheese party on Saturday afternoon and we gave away scads of old N Magazines and SunDials. Both nudes and prudes stopped in to watch and participate in Carl Flick's bodypainting which was a big draw for our camp.
Most of the women had never had their shirt off in public before and it was a treat to watch them first screw up their courage to do it and then watch their reaction. Big smiles and lots of laughs as they proudly wore Carl's art throughout the community. He worked his naked butt off Saturday and Sunday using his beautiful art as a catalyst which spread the sense of freedom and body acceptance throughout the weekend.
Next chance to attend one of these Burning Man events is in April for the Pre-Heat gathering. (The website doesn't quite have info on the 2010 event yet but you can view the info for the 2009 event.) |

NAC Newsletter Now Online!
 The Naturist Action Committee has now completely redesigned its newsletter and is now offering it free online. The newsletter is one of the best ways for naturists to keep ahead of the curve on naturist issues throughout the USA.
NAC, a 501 (c)(4) political action adjunct of The Naturist Society, is funded solely by individual contributions. (NAC donors of $25 or more may also request a print copy of the newsletter mailed to them for a year.)
