Update on Florida HB 801:
Rep. Snyder's House Bill 801 is currently on the House Second Reading Calendar. As noted in our previous e-newsletter, with the amendment removing all references to FS 800.03 (exposure of sexual organs) from the bill, it is not a threat to naturist interests in its current form.
You can read the original & the amended bill on the
Sen. Aronberg's companion bill SB 2354 has not yet moved in committee. |
Toward a Naturist beach in Delray
Dave Armstrong, a resident of Delray Beach in Palm Beach County, is now advocating for a designated clothing-optional beach at the sparsely-used north end of Delray's public beach. This project was discussed at the Naturist Society Midwinter Festival in February, with input and advice from NAC's Morley Schloss, SFFB's Richard Mason and a number of other naturist activists.
